WHAT WE DO

The Diamond Dream Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that uses the magic of baseball to teach children some of life's most fundamental skills. By utilizing the help of volunteers and professional athletes, we create a special and memorable experience for these children. We believe it is possible for these children to embrace a deep sense of individual responsibility, pride, and accomplishment that will carry forth as they continue into adulthood.

• We provide new baseball equipment to low-income and at-risk youth.

• We outfit children with hats, jerseys, and gloves, and hold clinics at after-school programs in the Washington, DC area.

• We use volunteers and professionals to teach the fundamental skills of baseball.

• We encourage children to play the real game and embrace the magic of baseball.

WHY WE DO IT

We believe that all children should have an equal opportunity to make a successful start in life, through education and sports, regardless of their age, race, gender, family composition, income, or community.

Our baseball clinics have multiple benefits that cascade throughout a child's life, including, but not limited to:

FUNDRAISING

Our main fundraising event is our marquee Celebrity Golf Classic held each September at the Army-Navy Country Club in Fairfax, Virginia.
